Scottsdale Public Library ReVentures program seeks Boomers for volunteer projects

(Scottsdale, AZ) – The Scottsdale Public Library’s innovative volunteer program geared for the Boomer generation is recruiting for upcoming program projects. Specifically, ReVentures seeks people with an interest in participating in the group’s fall 2007 signature project, The Vietnam Experience. This project will consist of a series of events, programs and exhibits that will tell the story of the Vietnam War from those who were directly involved.

Volunteers are needed for event planning, presentations, event coordination, marketing and many other project areas.

For information about the fall 2007 event or for volunteer information please call Frank Mittin at the Volunteer Center of Maricopa County at 602.263.9736 x 873 or frank. mittin  @ volunteer  phoenix. org.

The program is being managed for the first year by the Volunteer Center of Maricopa County. The ReVentures program is supported with funds granted by the Arizona State Library, Archives, and Public Records Agency under the Library Services and Technology Act, which is administered by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
