The summer schedule is now in effect at McCormick Stillman Railroad Park.
From June through August, the park will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Rides and concessions will be open during those hours on weekends, but closed from 1 to 4 p.m. on weekdays. Park reservations can be made from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The park’s museum also is closing for the summer. It will reopen in October. The 30-acre park is located on the southeast corner of Indian Bend and Scottsdale roads. Amenities include train and carousel rides, food concessions, two playgrounds, birthday party facilities, reservable and drop-in picnic areas, a railroad museum, desert arboretum and retail shops.
