Scottsdale high school students are invited to apply for the Mayor’s Youth Council.
The Youth Council provides teenagers the opportunity to:
** Learn about how local government works and how services are provided
** Tour various city facilities and meet with key city staff and city
** Participate in various meetings and/or events
** Share their ideas about local government and local issues with the Mayor, City Council and city staff.
Those selected to participate must be willing to attend and participate in all scheduled meetings and events. They also must help plan and participate in Youth Council events.
Applicants must attend a high school in the city or be a Scottsdale resident currently attending high school; and be a sophomore, junior or senior.
