SEPT. 19 OPEN HOUSE
For the past year the City has been designing a series of roadway improvements for Pinnacle Peak Road between Miller and Pima Roads. The project was recently put on hold due to escalating construction costs, but the improvements will be constructed once funding is available. A public input meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 19 at 6 p.m. at Pinnacle Peak Elementary School (7690 E. Williams Dr.). Residents will have an opportunity to see preliminary public art concepts, roadway plans and learn more about the project status. Potential improvements include a four-lane road with a center turn lane or raised landscaped median depending on the location, drainage improvements and public art.
