CYCLE THE ARTS RIDES THROUGH DOWNTOWN SCOTTSDALE, MAY 6. Cycle the Arts is a family friendly event along an 8-mile course that gives residents an up-close and personal look at Scottsdale public art by bicycle. Join us on Sunday, May 6 from 8 to 10 a.m. to learn fun and interesting information about Scottsdale public art. Bicycle helmets are required to participate on the ride. The first 75 kids will receive a free bicycle helmet. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at Eldorado Community Center, 2311 N. Miller Rd. The event is free, however, riders are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Vista del Camino Food Bank. The ride will include Downtown Scottsdale, the Civic Center Mall and the Indian Bend Wash. After the ride, there will be fun activities for kids of all ages that combines bicycles and art.
