SIGN UP UNDER WAY FOR ADOPT-A-SENIOR HOLIDAY PROGRAM
The city’s Adopt-A-Senior Holiday Program needs volunteers to ensure another successful year. Residents or businesses wishing to adopt a senior or make a contribution towards the program are invited to sign up now.
By “adopting” a senior, participants agree to purchase some requested gift items (minimal value $30-35) from their “wish list” and a grocery gift card of at least $25.
Making a cash or grocery gift card donation are also options. Please make checks out to “Concerned Citizens for Community Health/Via Linda” and mail it to Via Linda Senior Center 10440 E Via Linda, Scottsdale, Ariz., 85258.
Those wishing to “adopt” a senior should contact (480) 312-5810 by Oct. 20. Donated gifts and checks need to be delivered to the center no later than Nov. 30.
