—  MAJOR GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENTS REMOTE PUBLIC HEARING DATE SET FOR AUGUST 30.  The General Plan amendment public hearing schedule and related information is available on-line at:

—  PRELIMINARY APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED THE WEEK OF AUGUST 28, 2006:
657-PA-2006 – Use Permit request for Stearns Financial Services at 8900 E. Bahia Dr.
Request Conditional Use  Permit  for a bank.  The approx. 2.6 acre site is currently vacant, with the proposed building to be one 3 story building of approx. 41, 200 square feet.

658-PA-2006 – Development Review request for Hotel Scottsdale at 5101 N. Scottsdale Rd.
Request to renovate the existing Fairfield Inn  into a mid-range Boutique Hotel.  Exterior changes include exterior paint color change, new railings, balcony modifications, new tile roof features etc.   

659-PA-2006 – Use Permit request for Cat Eye Lounge at 2017 N. Scottsdale Rd.  Request UP for live entertainment-narrative does not state the type of entertainment, hours of operation for said entertainment, or any other details.

660-PA-2006 – Development Review request for Starbucks at 7106 E. Shea Blvd.
Request to demolish the existing building in order to construct a Starbucks café w/ a drive-through.  The existing driveway and parking areas will be revised and re-striped.

663-PA-2006 – Development Review request for Main St. Plaza (phase III) at 3600 Marshall Way.  Phase III,   consisting of 39 residential condos on five floors with a total gross building area of approx. 100,000 square feet.
 
Land Division Requests 

654-PA-2006 – Northridge Assemblage at 6363 E. Dynamite Blvd.  Request to assemble three individual lots into a single ten acre parcel. 

661-PA-2006 – Mark Fellman at 9979 E. Cholla St.  Request to divide 1 lot into two.
