Astronomy Workshop this Thursday, August 3! Bring the family!

The Phoenix Astronomical Society & Paradise Valley Community College Present:
SUMMER INDOOR ASTRONOMY WORKSHOP
Date: Thursday, August 3, 2006
Location: PVCC G-147 (Astronomy Lab)
Time: 7:00pm to 9:30 pm
Event: Astronomy Activities, Demonstrations, Activities for all ages
Bring everyone you know to this Thursday’s event! Come to PVCC & enjoy
an evening with PAS as we involve you in many fun activities & demonstrations.
Everyone is welcome to join in the fun. We will have demonstrations on how
to take good photos through your telescope with a camera, Meteorites on
display
for the viewing & feeling, Demonstrations on shadows & other neat astronomy
related phenomenon, Posters that will entice your mind, and more. A Q&A
will
be available as well, & if you wish to bring your telescope to learn more
about how to use it, please do. This is an indoor event to keep cool.
