CITY COUNCIL APPROVES LEASE AMENDMENT TO ADD RESIDENTIAL TO SKYSONG PROJECT; DEVELOPMENT REVIEW MEETING SCHEDULED FOR JULY 20 AND AUGUST 24.
Scottsdale City Council approved the additional of residential to the lease amendment for the SkySong project. The SkySong Phase III proposal (which includes apartments) is highlighted on the city’s web site at:
The approved site plan calls for 1.2 million square feet of research, office and retail uses. Phase III consists of a residential component and a parking structure.
Mixed-use zoning was approved for the site on June 21, 2005, and allows a variety of residential types.
As is the case with all phases of SkySong, the third phase will require Development Review Board review and approval, which is slated for July 20 and August 24.
