COMMUNITY INVITED TO PREVIEW PLANS FOR FORMER VILLA MONTEREY GOLF COURSE ON MARCH 13. The City of Scottsdale invites you to a community open house on future plans for an “open space” park at the site of the former Villa Monterey Golf Course. The open house is at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, at Navajo Elementary School, 4525 N. Granite Reef Road. Preliminary plans include components such as a new multi-use path with connections to existing multi-use path segments, turf areas, a new irrigation system with new pump and enclosure, improvements to one of the existing ponds, and infilling of some of the existing ponds.
