In Part II of Interviewing Skills, Jim O’Hara will present strategies designed to help you address liabilities, prepare your questions for the interviewer, and send your thank you communications. Passions Workshop

SJN will be offering a special workshop for job seekers, Exploring Your Passion–and Putting it to Work, on Tues, April 29 at Temple Chai. The program runs from 9 AM-4 PM and has a limited enrollment of 30 participants.

“Passions,” as we often refer to it, was created and has been presented to job seekers for several years by SJN Board Member and Facilitator, Maria Wojtczak. Read about the focus of the workshop:

Job seekers often limit themselves to what they “have always done” because it was the career that defined them for many years. They tend to lose sight of their many gifts, interests, strengths, and wealth of skills they developed through their life experience. This workshop utilizes proven tools to help individuals identify their strengths, talents and preferences - what they’re basically good at and really enjoy doing! and can prove to be useful in opening up job search options.

Because of the need to purchase booklets, binders and printed materials, this workshop has a fee of $25.

Scottsdale City Court advises customers to plan ahead if visiting the CityCourt on the dates below due to San Francisco Giants’ home games. Parkingavailability for court customers will be affected on these days.Customers are advised to either allow more time for their scheduled visit,or if they do not have a scheduled appearance date and time, to select an
